Barbie-girl Haircut

Recently, I had the fun opportunity to cut the hair of a teenage girl on her way to the Barbie movie. She didn’t come to me to get a haircut FOR the movie, but the timing was impeccable, so we decided we had to play it up. She has lived in Pleasant Grove her entire life and has been struggling to find a ‘go-to’ hairdresser who can cut hair for teens that actually looks current.

For her hair, I gave her curtain bangs to match her face structure, with enough volume to create lift and movement. In order to give that Barbie volume, I did a light soft blended face frame while adding longer layers.

And of course, finished with a beautiful polished blow-dry.

She felt like a queen walking into the theatre.
